For young researchers (PhD students, postdocs…), the academic culture is a lot to take in. One may feel as overwhelmed as this chemist-doggy. Fear not, for we have all been there!
DisCoTec 2025 will host an event, dedicated to facilitating the discussion between Young Reseachers and Experienced Ones. Young Researchers will present their work through a poster , and be assigned a mentor with whom they will be able to discuss their research, receive constructive feedback, and hopefully make novel ideas emerge! During a later plenary session, it will be the mentees’ turn to provide feedback on the Young Researchers’ Event, as they will be proposed to tell how the experience went and what novel research pathways have emerged from it.
Young Researchers willing to partake in the Event be requested to submit two documents:

Poster Session on Monday, 16th June during the Welcome Reception: show off your marvelous (or tormenting) research to a thrilled audience with comforting beverages and petits fours in hand.
Following the Poster Session, each Young Researcher will be assigned an Experienced Mentor: during the conference, they may freely discuss the mentee’s research topic, joys and difficulties.
The posters will stay hanged for most of event’s duration. Participants will be able to get back to their figures.
Feedback Session on Thursday, 19th June: participants will present their discussions’ output and closing thoughts on the Young Researchers’ Event.
