- DisCoTeC 2024: June 17 to 21, 2024.
General Conditions
- DisCoTec 2024 is planned as an on-site event.
- At least one author of papers/presentations accepted to the DisCoTec events (main conferences and workshops) must register by the early registration date.
- All registration fees below include 23% of VAT.
- Similar to past editions, there are no special fees for students, but we have a limited amount of student travel grants provided by IFIP; see below for details.
- The online registration form will close on June 12. If registering by this date is not possible, please contact the local organization (discotec2024@rug.nl) well in advance.
- In order to keep registration fees as low as possible, on-site registration and cancellations/refunds are not supported (see also below).
- If you have any questions about the registration, please contact discotec2024@rug.nl (please, refer to “DisCoTec 2024 Registration” in the subject).

Access to the Welcome reception on Monday, June 17 (at the House of Connections) is included in:

Closing drinks on Friday 21
Access to the closing drinks on Friday, June 21 (at the Bernoulliborg )is included in:

Event Description
Registration to “DisCoTec Conferences + Workshops” includes:
- All benefits of “DisCoTec Conferences only” (see below).
- All benefits of “Monday Workshop” (see below).
- All benefits of “Friday Workshops” (see below).
Registration to “DisCoTec Conferences only” includes:
- Access to all Coordination, DAIS, and FORTE sessions on Tuesday 18, Wednesday 19, and Thursday 20.
- Lunch and two coffee breaks on Tuesday 18, Wednesday 19, and Thursday 20.
- Free access to the online LNCS proceedings of Coordination, DAIS, and FORTE.
- Excursion and conference dinner on Wednesday 19.
Registration to “Monday Workshop” includes:
- Access to the workshop DiDiT on Monday 17.
- Lunch and two coffee breaks on Monday 17.
- Welcome reception (at the House of Connections) on Monday 17.
Registration to “Friday Workshops” includes:
- Access to all the workshops (ICE and PLNL) on Friday 21.
- Lunch and two coffee breaks on Friday 21.
- Closing drinks (at the Bernoulliborg) on Friday 21.
Student Travel Grants
Similar to past editions, there are no special fees for students but we have a limited amount of student travel grants provided by IFIP (subject to conditions).
In order to apply to these grants, candidates should send their application (CV and a one-page motivation letter) via email to discotec2024@rug.nl with the subject “DisCoTec 2024 - student travel grant”.
Applications should arrive by the early registration date, and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

In case you need an invitation letter, after completing the registration process, please send your request to discotec2024@rug.nl (subject: “DisCoTec 2024 - Visa invitation letter”) by specifying the following details:
- Date in which you completed the registration and payment process
- Full name (as shown in your passport)
- Date of birth
- Snail mail address
- Professional e-mail address
- If you are presenting a paper: title of the paper, submission number, name of the conference/workshop
- Proof of student or professional status
- Passport number, expiration date, issuing country
We aim at processing letter requests quickly (via email), after having confirmed that registration has taken place.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
In order to keep registration fees as low as possible, there will be no refunds in cases of cancellation. However, registered participants who have to cancel their participation may be substituted by another participant at no extra cost.
